This is a short but beautiful track that weaves its way through native forest and includes a short steep climb, a picturesque river ford and some wooden bridges.

This trail will give you a true adventure and special New Zealand experience as you navigate in the native beech forest of the Kaimanawa Forest Park. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for native birds, and get a glimpse of the beautiful Tongariro River.

This is an intermediate trail that provides a great level of challenge to keep things interesting!
